The weight of any wooden bat house requires that a pole mount bracket be used to properly secure the box to a post. This mounting can be purchased through BCM or a similar mount can be constructed from the following plan. A slightly scaled-down mount is used with the lightweight Three Chamber Bat House in our catalog.
