Pole Mounting

Assembly:

1. Connect upper 2x4's with six 3'' deck screws
2. Attach upper 2x4 mount to top of post with two 3/8'' lag bolts and washers. Predrill upper 2x4 and part of post with 5/16'' drill bit.
3. Countersink mounting face holes with 1'' diameter spade bit 1/2'' deep.
4. Install one 5/16'' lag bolt and washer in upper mounting face and two in lower. These holes can be predrilled partway into the post. The lower bracket should be about 32'' from the upper bracket. Paint entire mount and post black if desired.
5. Attach Bat Box to facing mounts using eight 1.5'' deck screws. Screws can also be painted black.
