This is a small sinkhole dropping a few feet into a fissure a few hundred feet long. Three 6' Forest Strainer harp traps were placed near the gate and over a small ungated fissure. ~100 bats were captured. The unusual gate design made this a challange to set traps. We opted to place them near trees and hoped that bats would skirt along the edge of the gate.
