| Site 10 at Plymouth gave up some bats finally. Two pips and a little brown were had before 11:00. All bats were caught under the bridge, in about the same spot in the same net, a somewhat common observation. I learned a few more tricks about the digital camera, so now I should have a higher success rate.
Chris established site 11 very near site 10 on the same infeeder. This net site is different as nets are setup across over puddles in a constricted area on a jeep trail. We thought it would be interesting to hit one of these large pool areas hard, trapping with slightly different strategies. Doing so, he picked up three species all at once around 10:30, a pip, a big brown, and red. With the little brown I caught, we now have four species at Plymouth. |

| In other significant logistics developments, the Days Inn at Teays Valley agreed to help us out with internet access, so it looks like we continue to provide semi-daily updates as we progress towards the mighty Ohio River. | |||||
