First net night
This was essentially a travel day from the Allegheny Mountain Project to Kanawha. We met USFWS representative Jason Miller and proceeded to set up on an island (Site #1) just below Kanawha Falls. After several cargo shuttles to the mainland we erected a nine meter wide triple high net set, and two single high nets.

Promptly a massive thunderstorm struck at dusk, supressing bat as well as our activity. Fog rolled in afterwards making for a surreal but unproductive night.

Bottom Right: A castaway we picked up and who offered to work for us for a week for a haircut.
