| The far mine site was trapped tonight. 59 bats in all were captured, including 12 female little browns, 40 male little browns, 5 big browns, a single longeared and small footed, all male. Trapping continued until nearly 3:00 AM, our usual stop time to avoid having to harbor a bat over the next day.
The only other excitement was a fairly large turtle which moved through camp enroute to the beach area of the lake nearby. |
